Past & Present
Provided permanent shelter for homeless families with the collaboration of the Andrha Pradesh local government and Longitude. Constructed 45 homes in Kothasatram and Indiranagar and 84 homes in Gummallapadu.
Physically, ARV has enabled Dalits and Yanadis to construct houses using government scheme with additional inputs from ARV where it was critically required. This is a great change in the lives of Dalits and Yanadis as a permanent house is an asset and a status symbol which gives confidence, credibility to communities like Dalits and Yanadis. It gives them not only shelter but dignity and security.
Future
Provide permanent shelter for widows in 22 villages surrounding in the Kolleru Lake area.
