Past & Present
ARV has been helping people in Kolleru Lake to access government entitlements through advocacy. Where there was critical need ARV has been mobilizing financial and human resources through volunteers.
ARV approached government in response to the “Kolleru Lake Operation” to release compensation promised to Kolleru Lake people after demolition. Some, but not all have received compensation and ARV continues to advocate on behalf of these people. ARV is also advocating on behalf of Kolleru Lake people to give the vacant land to the people who lost their livelihoods during the “Kolleru Lake Operation”.
